DAG Wealth
Separately Managed Account strategies for digital and traditional assets
SMAs give qualified clients direct ownership of a strategy instead of pooled fund exposure. Accounts titled to the client, entity, trust, or retirement account, managed under a defined policy, with position-level reporting and advisor oversight.
Section 01
What an SMA actually gives you
A Separately Managed Account is a portfolio of securities (or digital assets) managed under a written policy, titled in your name, or in your entity, trust, or retirement account. You own the positions directly. The advisor holds investment authority; you hold ownership.
Right fit if
- You want tax-loss harvesting at the individual lot level
- You have a concentrated position you can't or won't sell outright
- You need restrictions a fund can't accommodate
- You want position-level transparency for CPA / family office coordination
- Your account is large enough that fund-level fees stop being efficient

Section 04 · Bitcoin SMA
Core Plus: an actively managed Bitcoin SMA
BTC-denominated objective. The goal is to grow your Bitcoin position over time, not your dollar position. Performance is measured in BTC. Returns are reinvested in BTC.
Actively managed. Not buy-and-hold. The strategy uses derivatives and trading techniques run by Two Prime to add BTC to the account over a market cycle.
Long-only, no leverage on principal. Capital is not levered. Derivative positions used in the strategy are sized within disclosed risk parameters in the offering materials.
Independent institutional custody. Assets sit at an independent qualified custodian in a segregated account titled to the client. The manager has trading authority only, never withdrawal authority.

Section 05 · Traditional SMAs
Traditional SMA mandates
Equity, fixed income, and multi-asset SMAs from established institutional managers, with lot-level tax management and customization that pooled vehicles can't deliver.
Direct-indexed equity
Replicate a chosen benchmark (S&P 500, R1000, MSCI EAFE) with hundreds of individual positions. Harvest losses on individual names without breaking the overall exposure.
Concentrated equity transition
For clients holding one or two large positions: a multi-year plan to diversify without creating an unnecessary tax event in a single year.
Tax-aware municipal ladder
State-specific muni portfolios sized to your tax bracket. Built for after-tax yield, not gross yield.
Taxable fixed income
Investment-grade corporate, government, and structured credit ladders for accounts where municipals don't make sense.
Multi-asset SMA
Equity, fixed income, and alternatives coordinated in a single account with one written investment policy.
Sustainable / values-based
Restrictions for sector exclusions, faith-based screens, or specific corporate-governance criteria, applied at the position level instead of through a separate fund.
