Section 01

Most insurance strategies weren't built for crypto wealth.

Insurance planning assumes a familiar balance sheet. Salary, home equity, a brokerage account. It rarely accounts for a large, volatile position in digital assets, the tax that comes with it, or the liquidity problem an estate faces when most of the value sits in a wallet.

The result is predictable. Heirs inherit an illiquid position and a tax bill, with no cash to cover either, and end up selling under pressure at a price they did not choose. DAG Insurance closes that gap.

What standard planning misses

  • Liquidity to cover taxes without selling the position
  • Coverage sized against a concentrated, volatile asset
  • Income that is less dependent on the next market cycle
  • Policies owned by the trust or entity that holds the wealth

Section 03

Backed by an entire firm.

At DAG, several affiliated companies work together to address the multiple areas of your financial life. DAG Wealth, an SEC Registered Investment Advisor, provides investment advice, DAG Private Client provides administrative support and can coordinate with your estate attorney on entity and trust structure, and DAG Insurance places coverage. Working with the financial planning team, a policy can be owned by a trust your attorney drafts and considered alongside the plan DAG Wealth manages, so the coverage fits your structure rather than getting bolted on afterward. Each company operates separately, and any insurance recommendation comes from DAG Insurance, not as investment advice.

Benefits

Why clients keep it under one roof.

Coverage built around digital assets

Planning for concentration, illiquidity at death, and the tax a large gain creates.

Liquidity without a forced sale

Life insurance funds estate obligations so heirs are not required to sell holdings at a bad time.

Income off the market cycle

Fixed and fixed indexed annuities convert part of a position into tax-deferred growth and income, backed by the claims-paying ability of the issuer.

Independent placement

DAG shops multiple carriers and places what fits, not one company's product.

Owned by the right structure

Coverage can sit inside the trust or entity that holds the rest of your wealth.

Coordinated approach

Affiliated companies work together to address multiple areas of your financial life.

Did you know

Life insurance death benefits are generally received income-tax-free under IRC § 101(a), and when a policy is owned by a properly structured irrevocable trust, the benefit may also fall outside the taxable estate. How these rules apply depends on each individual's specific financial, tax, and estate circumstances, and outcomes vary accordingly. DAG Insurance does not provide tax or legal advice. We encourage you to consult a qualified tax advisor or attorney to evaluate how these considerations apply to your situation.

$30 million per couple. Amounts above are taxed up to 40 percent, before any state tax.

A coverage review examines what you hold, who depends on it, and how your current coverage performs against those needs. Guided by our licensed professionals, it is designed to surface gaps that are easy to miss. Most clients leave with a written summary and a clear view of where they stand.

Insurance disclosures

Insurance products and services are offered through DAG Insurance, a South Dakota limited liability company licensed as an insurance producer ("Xure Legacy Insurance Agency"), or its affiliates. Insurance products are not securities, are not FDIC insured, and are not guaranteed by any federal or state government agency. Policy values may fluctuate and benefits are subject to the claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance carrier. Clients are encouraged to review all policy documents carefully prior to purchase.

DAG Insurance and its affiliates operate in connection with digital asset and alternative investment strategies, including the potential use of permanent life insurance products for estate liquidity, wealth transfer, and risk management planning in portfolios that may include digital assets. Life insurance products involve their own risks and considerations, including policy performance versus illustrations, carrier financial strength, liquidity provisions, premium sustainability, and tax treatment. Investing in digital assets involves substantial risk, including but not limited to: extreme price volatility and the potential for significant or total loss of principal; cybersecurity, hacking, theft, and custody risks; regulatory, legal, and tax uncertainty; illiquidity; and the possibility that such investments may not be suitable for all investors. Digital asset markets have historically experienced drawdowns. Past performance is not indicative of future results. All investments and insurance products involve risk of loss.

Recommendations regarding insurance products are subject to a suitability analysis based on the client's individual circumstances. Any compensation arrangements, including trails or other payments to affiliates or individuals, are disclosed as required by applicable regulations. Clients should consult with qualified insurance, legal, and tax professionals. Additional disclosures are available upon request.

Compensation disclosure: Certain licensed financial professionals associated with DAG Holdings may receive referral fees or commissions for insurance products sold through Xure Legacy Insurance Agency. This compensation creates a conflict of interest, as it may incentivize recommendations based on compensation rather than on client need. Clients are not required to purchase insurance products through Xure Legacy or any DAG affiliate. All referrals and recommendations are made only where determined appropriate for the client's specific needs. All compensation is disclosed prior to purchase.
