Frequently asked questions

Questions, beforethe questions.

The things prospective clients ask before they choose a service line: who we serve, how we charge, where assets are held, and how a relationship begins.

About the firm

Question 01 of 04

What is Digital Ascension Group?

Digital Ascension Group (DAG) is an SEC Registered Investment Advisor and family office firm built for people with meaningful digital asset positions. The firm delivers investment management, access to independent qualified custody, entity structuring, tax coordination, and estate planning through one team. Most clients come to DAG because they hold crypto at a scale where exchange accounts and generalist advisers no longer fit.

Who DAG serves

Question 01 of 04

Who is DAG for?

DAG works with crypto holders who have meaningful positions and need more than an exchange account or generalist adviser. That includes individuals with $100K or more in digital assets, crypto founders and entrepreneurs, business owners holding crypto alongside traditional assets, high-net-worth families, athletes and entertainers receiving partial compensation in digital assets, family offices needing institutional crypto capability, and other RIAs looking to refer crypto-heavy clients.

Services

Question 01 of 04

What's the difference between DAG Wealth, DAG Private Client, and DAG Family Office?

DAG Wealth is investment management delivered through the SEC Registered Investment Advisor. DAG Private Client handles the personal-side legal, tax, and structural work (Wyoming LLCs, trusts, estate planning, and crypto tax) that sits around the portfolio. DAG Family Office is the integrated offering for UHNW families whose complexity goes beyond a portfolio manager. The services are separable. Some clients use one; many use two or three.

Custody & security

Question 01 of 04

Where are my crypto assets actually held?

Client assets are held at Anchorage Digital, the only federally chartered crypto bank in the United States, operating under direct OCC oversight. Holdings sit in segregated, bankruptcy-remote accounts in your name, governed by a multi-signature structure where the client retains signing authority. Anchorage Digital is the same custodian BlackRock uses for spot Bitcoin ETF custody.

Fees & engagement

Question 01 of 04

How does DAG charge?

DAG Wealth charges asset-based advisory fees disclosed in Form ADV Part 2A. DAG Private Client services (LLC formation, trusts, estate work, tax) are priced on a per-engagement basis and published on each service page. Family Office engagements are scoped and priced individually. There are no commissions or product-based compensation.

Trust, regulation & risk

Question 01 of 04

How does DAG protect client information?

Client information is held under standard fiduciary confidentiality obligations. Operational security follows institutional standards across DAG and its custody partners. Anchorage Digital maintains SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type II certifications.
