Tim Githens is an Investment Advisor at DAG Wealth, focused exclusively on digital assets. A solution-oriented advisor, he helps clients structure and manage their crypto portfolios through secure custody, compliance, and personalized advisory, working with high-net-worth clients to align their portfolios with long-term financial goals. His day-to-day work spans portfolio structuring, client onboarding, compliance, and promoting secure custody. He holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from Arizona State University, in Finance and in Biomedical Sciences, the Series 7 and 66 along with Life, Health, and Long-Term Care designations, and the DACFP Certified in Blockchain and Digital Assets credential. Tim began his career as an Aviation Operations Specialist in the U.S. Army from 2003 to 2009, serving deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan and executing more than 200 MEDEVAC missions. He then built a career in financial services as a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones and Merrill Lynch, providing retirement planning, investment advice, estate planning, and tax strategies, and later worked as an estate planner and as a financial administration specialist with the Veterans Benefits Administration. That breadth gave him a history of improving systems, training teams, and optimizing workflows, and he brings a strategic, analytical mindset to the fast-moving digital finance space. Known for clear communication, cross-functional collaboration, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving, he now brings that same precision to the decentralized economy.
