Jose Amaro

Jose Amaro is an Investment Advisor with DAG Wealth. A graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology, he holds the Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses along with the CRPC designation and the CBDA certificate. He came into advising after working across banking, wealth management, operations, and advisory roles, including positions at PNC Bank, Merrill Lynch, Fidelity, Personal Capital, and Empower, which showed him how confusing financial decisions can be for clients. That breadth taught him to work directly with clients, support complex accounts, and explain financial concepts clearly across both traditional investments and digital assets. His work ethic comes from genuinely caring about the people he serves, believing financial advice should feel clear, thoughtful, and personal rather than rushed or transactional. Outside of work he spends most of his time with his wife and son and staying active with soccer, pickleball, and the beach, and he enjoys reading and podcasts. He tells new clients the first meeting is simply a no-pressure conversation about what matters to them. He lives in Lawrence, New Jersey.
