Dax Westlund

Dax Westlund is an Investment Advisor with DAG Wealth. A graduate of Weber State, he holds the Series 7 and 66 and the CRPC designation and is working toward the CBDA. He has spent the majority of his career as a financial advisor at established national brokerage firms, including Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo, building long-term client relationships and a strong understanding of the common gaps in clients' portfolios. He has a long-standing passion for the markets and for studying asset classes, their correlations, and their relationships to global economic events, and he enjoys constructing well-diversified strategies and sharing foundational knowledge with people eager to learn. Watching his parents navigate periods of job uncertainty taught him that meaningful success takes patience, perseverance, and consistent work. Outside of work he enjoys the outdoors, hiking, gardening, golf, and sand volleyball, which he has shared with his kids. He tells new clients his top priority is to understand what they hope to achieve and to work toward it together as a team. He lives in West Bountiful, Utah.
